EXPERIENCE
My background is in research, specializing in dynamic modeling, simulation, and controls of robotic systems. During my PhD, I implemented model-based control software on nonlinear robotic systems. Now, I'm building a team at Reforge Robotics to build software that helps manufacturers reduce costs by using low-cost robots instead of expensive machines for precision manufacturing.
FOUNDER & CEO AT REFORGE ROBOTICS
Manufacturing popular items like iPhones and Teslas requires precise, expensive machines and highly skilled programmers. Reforge Robotics is reducing the cost of manufacturing by augmenting lower-cost robotic systems that are easy to program with advanced software algorithms that make them as accurate as conventional machines with little to no increase in price.
2024-
CO-FOUNDER & CTO AT PRINT GENIUS
Print Genius is a software platform to manage and operate independent 3D print farms. I designed our automatic quoting algorithm and built the front and back end of the web application.
2023
GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN
I earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on mechatronics. My dissertation was about using a novel control technique to improve the accuracy and speed of robots and 3D printers.
2017-23
CONTROL OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER AT ULENDO
I was a founding member of the Ulendo team, a company spun out from my research lab at Michigan. I worked on translating our 3D printing control software into a commercial product.
2019-20
RESEARCH ENGINEER AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY
At the Stanford Biomimetic and Dexterous Manipulation Lab, I built a MAV robot that was capable of flying, perching on walls, and climbing up walls.

of my story

My story starts in Nigeria. After emigrating to the U.S., I grew up in Houston, Texas before moving to Stanford, California for college. I continued my academic journey at the University of Michigan, where I earned my doctorate and discovered my passion for robotics.
